My favorite Greek island visited to date — Sifnos attracts a European crowd, off the tourist circuit. It’s known for it’s outstanding dining scene, ceramics, chickpeas, hiking trails, and a plethora of gorgeous coves.

Apollonia - Charming town with many shops and restaurants along Steno Alley
Apokofto Beach - Hang at this beach pre-or post lunch at nearby Faros village or Marina Gialos Beach (for lunch @Omega 3)
Kastro - Old town worthy of a visit to grab a drink and stroll down to the Church of the Seven Martyrs
Lazarou Beach - Grab a beach chair for the afternoon
Hike - Many trails throughout the island
Pangaia Poulati - Cliffside church with a perfect cove below for a dip; take the trail nearby to Kastro village
Paralia Fikiada - Secluded beach accessible by a hike; bring towels and a snack
